The cost of the membership is $35.00 per month. All memberships beginning after the 10th of the month will be a pro-rated amount. There is no contract to sign and visits are unlimited.

A trained Exercise Specialist is at the center from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, an employee is always present to assist you and/or answer questions.





Equipment

The center is equipped with:
  • 6 treadmills
  • 3 EFX (Elliptical) Machines
  • 2 Sci-fit Exercise Bikes
  • 2 Airdyne bikes
  • Up-to-date Nautilus and Paramount Equipment
  • A Variety of Dumbbells
  • Exercise Balls




Services Offered

The exercise specialist will help you in creating a workout plan that best quits your needs; whether your goal is to lost weight, become more toned, or just to maintain your overall fitness.

Blood pressure and pulse is monitored as needed.

Body fat composition analysis is offered by request.



 

Aquatics

Jack Strickland Rehabilitation Center offers an aquatic exercise program through the Arthritis Foundation. This program is designed for people with any form of arthritis, fibromyalgia, or other conditions causing pain in the joints, tissues, or muscles. These warm water, gentle motion exercises ease joint pain, lessen stiffness, tone muscles, and improve joint flexibility.

The aquatic classes are led by a certified instructor who has completed an Arthritis Aquatic Training course conducted by the Arthritis Foundation. These classes give each individual a chance to meet new friends and to provied fun social interaction.



Anyone can participate in the program. Classes are held throughout each day Monday through Friday. Please contact Jack Strickland Rehabilitation Center for specific information on class times.



Classes last between 45 minutes and 1 hour. The cost is $5.00 per session.
