Emergency Medical Services

The Evans County Commissioners established Evans County Emergency Medical Service, in October of 1973.  We have seven full time employees that work, six of which work two 24 hour shifts per week and two 24 hour on call shifts per week.  We are open 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Our full time employees have combined Emergency Medical Care skills of over 100 years.  We also have four part time employees that help us fill our work schedules.  Our team is well versed in all types of emergency health care as well as stroke and cardiac care.  We serve all of Evans County and do at times work in surrounding Counties when requested.  We also assist with mutual aid requests in surrounding Counties when needed.  We are funded 100% by Evans County.
